If TrueView can't be automated, can AutoCAD LT 2004? We have a few licenses for it that we could use if necessary. Is it possible to create PDFs with some sort of start-up script?
Is there any way that I can automate TrueView to print all paper space layouts in the drawings to PDF? I see that you can pass scripts to TrueView with the command line switch /b, however I am not familiar with what is available to these scripts. We do not have the budget to install the full version of AutoCAD on every PC that might have this application installed, so unless I am mistaken, ObjectARX is not an option. The PCs of the target users have DWG TrueView installed, and in some cases, the full version of Adobe Acrobat. We include certain AutoCAD drawings in these manuals, so I need some way to convert multiple DWG to a single PDF, _without_ any user input. I am currently writing an application that generates PDF manuals for the machines we build. I know this question has been asked numerous times, however I am having a hard time finding a solution.
